George W Bush was born on July 6, 1946. He was the oldest of six children. His middle name is Walker. As a child, he attended a boarding school in Texas. He received his bachelor’s degree from Yale University in 1968. After college, he applied to be a pilot trainee in the Texas Air National Guard. He became a certified fighter pilot in 1970. He was granted an early discharge so that he could start at the Harvard Business School. He received his MBA in 1975. His father, George H Bush, served as the 41st president from 1989 to 1993.
He married Laura Welch in 1977. They had two children together, Barbara and Jenna. Their daughters are twins and they were each named after their grandmothers. They were born in November of 1981. Barbara later attended Yale.
